C1 conversions page updated

I’ve updated the C1 to C2 conversions page and added AdR & Toshiba-3’s Cullwing remake to it.

Carma PSX mod coming soon…

Sir. Errol Errolson of Toxic Rager fame has been scraping away at the innards of the PlayStation version of Carmageddon, he has managed to get all of the vehicles and all of the tracks out of the game.
Errol will be releasing the cars in packs of three and he’ll be releasing the tracks individually.

I will be stitching all of the PSX content together, making a new interface and hud and then releasing a PSX mod out of it. This will be a complete mod and I’ll spend a lot of work getting the groups, tracks and the missions in the correct order.

All I need now is that bleedin’ motherboard!

FYI: Visit Lord Errol’s website at Toxic Ragers!

Lifeless Intermission

Hello thar!

It’s been a bit quiet as of late around here, this is because my motherboard on my main system is forked.

I still have a few things in the works: alpha Eagle 3 and the DD:RAW tracks

I’ll pick these up once I get my replacement mobo.

Street Machine re-release

I’ve re-released the Street Machine remake, it now works independently from the original SMACHINE so you can now use both together, like this:

Street Machine 2011 is here!

Here it is, the Street Machine 2011 remake, it features what you’d expect from a C2 car including:
– Detachables
– Smashables
– A detailed interior
And much more.

Here is the contents of the readme, you may need to read this thoroughly:

Street Machine 2011 remake

Original vehicle by Pip The Pest

Please make sure you are positive that you want to use this car, it will overwrite Pip’s SMACHINE.
ALSO please make sure you read the install instructions, things will fuck up otherwise.
YOU WERE WARNED!

—-

!!!IMPORTANT!!!

Remove Pip’s original SMACHINE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS, if you’ve already extracted the file then remove the SMACHINE folder from ‘data/CARS’ and extract again.

It probably works without doing this but just in case, you know.

—-

Installation.

1. Remove Pip’s original SMACHINE folder in your ‘data/CARS/’ directory (if you have it installed)

2. Extract the archive to your C2 folder

3. Use Carstockalypse (or your own knowledge of OPPONENT.txt editing) to install the vehicle

4. Play the game

This vehicle can be downloaded from the downloads section of this site.

Menuimages galore!

Street Machine is pretty much complete, I’ve done the menuimages, lookie here for a comparison with the old Street Machine:

All I need to do is get the directories set up for archiving it (maybe TWAT it up but probably not) and write a readme, sexy stuff.

Changes

I’ve made some more changes to this site:

– Added an index page for the three conversion pages (see the nav bar)
– Updated the Downloads page:
All links will now work in the downloads page I’ve also added some more recent stuff, including content from my Destruction Derby RAW mod.

I still need to redo the About and Contact pages, I’ll do that at a later date though.

Redesign… AGAAAAAIN

Redesigning this shit again. Going to try and get something I like this time.

Working on new items

That’s right, I’ve decided to start getting back into Carmageddon editing and I have a few items lined up for the future.
Here is a short list on what I’m working on doing:

– Release the remaining content from my Destruction Derby: RAW mod (this will include the tracks and menu items perhaps)
– I’m working on a few things in 3dsMax (TTR has been helping me with my limited knowledge of 3dsMax)
– I have a modified version of the Eagle 3 in the works
– A super secret car is coming also (Super secret :D)
– I’m going to be redesigning this shitty site again. For the seventh time

So that’s all to come, I may even pick up my ancient hi-res mod and redo it at some point in the future.

~Razor.

Mastro has converted another one of my DDRAW cars to C1, this time it’s Number 23, ‘GT LUVVA’ and it can be found [ here ]
